Appletree is a spacious Lakeland cottage in a courtyard of similar cottages, with the living accommodation on the first floor and bedrooms on the ground floor. The new owner (2010) has improved the property and has plans for further improvements. It is located in a very convenient position on the edge of Keswick, a pleasant 10 minute stroll through the park takes you to the town centre, 400 yards from the start of the walk up Latrigg and Skiddaw and easy access from the A66. The Pheasant Inn is directly across the road, serving real ale and home cooked food.
