It is a spacious, well equipped cottage offering the perfect base for couples and families looking to explore this beautiful area of the Yorkshire Coast. It is within easy reach of all the attractions Scarborough has to offer including the historic castle, the lovely promenade and and beach and ample amusements and Sea Life Centre for the kids to enjoy. Scalby itself has a selection of pubs and shops and is ideal for walkers and cycle enthusiasts with some excellent pathwas and cycle tracks direct from the door where you can appreciate the surrounding countryside. The historic town of Whitby is just 18 miles away where Bram Stoker was inspired to write the novel Dracula. and is also famous for its fish and chips - claimed to be the best fish and chips in Britain by Rick Stein, the famous sea food chef.
