Stunning walks can be taken directly from the front door. Getting around the Lake is enhanced by the Ullswater Steamers, which sail year round. Mountain bikers will be spoilt for choice (secure cycle storage available). Numerous activities are available, including boating, golf, fishing, horse trekking, paragliding and even hot air ballooning! The property is also within easy reach of the historic forts of Hadrians Wall, Gretna Green and the charming Eden Valley. Or for pure relaxation, just chill!
There are numerous renowned restaurants and gastro pubs in addition to a large choice of local farm shops, market town butchers, bakers and purveyors of Lakeland produce including the noted Cumberland sausage.
