It is a detached property located within the grounds of the farmhouse. There are many footpaths, bridle ways and quiet lanes to explore, yet not far away you can shop for some wonderful local produce (the owners supply and own a butchers shop in Hawkhurst). This is a perfect base for visiting the many castles, gardens and National Trust properties easily reached within a short drive. Accommodation overview: Heron Cottage is a large house set in six acres of grounds surrounded by unspoilt countryside, it is situated between the ancient village of Biddenden and Sissinghurst Castle, about ten miles from Ashford and five miles from Headcorn station with frequent trains to London. As it is a Bed & Breakfast establishment in summer, all seven bedrooms have TVs and modern en-suite bathrooms except one which has use of the family bath and shower rooms. Available for family gatherings for birthdays, anniversaries or even weddings - mainly in the winter months when it is warm and cosy with central heating and wood burner.
