Centrally positioned to explore the coastal resorts of Whitby, Scarborough and Filey, to the East, and also the market towns of Pickering and Helmsley to the West, which are all within easy reach and all beautiful places to visit. Dalby Forest, only 8 miles away is a fantastic day out for all the family with ample walking and cycle paths through the forest or the kids can enjoy Go Ape the famous assault course situated high up in the trees. The beautiful historic City of York is less than an hour away. Snainton itself is a very pretty village with a pub, restaurant, shop and garage all within 100 yards from the property.

Accommodation overview: Discreetly tucked away in a small private courtyard with beautiful south facing garden, Foxglove Cottage occupies a prime location in this pretty village some 9 miles from the coastal resort of Scarborough and 8 miles from the bustling market town of Pickering. Foxglove Cottage is ideal for a couples getaway or a family break. Furnished and decorated to a particularly high standard, this delightful character cottage boasts a wealth of exposed beams, features, staircase carved from Piranha pine, exposed stonework, window seats lavished with Laura Ashley fabrics and much more. The second bedroom is ingeniously designed to accommodate 2 people with a single bed and an unusual hayloft bed. Although at 6ft off the ground, its not suitable for the very young or the infirm, however its great fun for able youngsters 8 years of age or older. The property also has a superb garden room with comfortable conservatory furniture, a delightful room to sit and enjoy the peacesful surroundings with French doors opening out onto a large patio and pretty cottage garden, south facing and very private.
